Some people use those tube vacs that filter the sand and take debris out. I did that but really had very high nitrates. I sucked the cyano off the top layer.... still to this day blow rock 1x...

I use a extender with an Ethernet port; however for updates it must be plugged direct into pc. I bought a 100 foot Ethernet cable for that.

Depends on the shapes of the rocks. I have a 120 and did 100 lbs and took 25 lbs out recently.
