    Something protruding from lobo

I look in my tank every night with a flash light to see if there are any unwanted critters venturing about. Then I noticed this white cotton looking thing hanging from my lobo. It's attached to the one side. Here are some pics.

So I'm asking what in the heck is it. Should I be worried? Or is it just growth like a Monti does

Is it soft tissue or skeleton? It looks to be extension of the tips? We have some vendors that sponsor our site, perhaps they can chime in.

I've seen this happen when the soft tissue gets damaged. It should recover in a few days.
